โฃโฃโฃOne of the toughest things when becoming new mummy is sleep deprivation. โฃโฃโฃโฃ

It can turn our world upside down, and puts such a negative on having a new baby. โฃโฃโฃโฃ
It makes it so much harder to care for our baby, learn to breastfeed and bloom into our new role as a mother and breastfeed. โฃโฃโฃโฃ
โฃโฃโฃโฃ
Sadly, thereโ€™s no magical wand to make your child sleep. It is the biological norm for babies to wake during the night. โฃโฃโฃโฃ
โฃโฃโฃโฃ
In the meantime, it is crucial that you look after yourself when youโ€™ve gone night after night after night with minimal sleep. Here are a few hopeful tips to ensure help with sleep deprivation:โฃโฃโฃโฃ

Take the opportunity to rest whilst you feed. Put your feed up, take some deep breathes and if you can, master feeding on your side.โฃโฃโฃโฃ

If they have children, they will understand. It can be so tiring making conversation and smiles when you are already tired. โฃโฃโฃโฃ

Your wellbeing is your number 1 priority. You cannot give to your baby emotionally when you are exhausted.โฃโฃโฃโฃ

Donโ€™t be polite. If people are offering to help, take it! If you can afford help, pay for it! Itโ€™s worth every penny. โฃโฃโฃโฃ
